We offer classes and experiences for a more Aware, Healthy and Peaceful Society. All are welcome. We have classes in Dance, Music, Visual Art and Technology. Below you will see a list of all classes that are currently being offered at our Global Community Arts Center. Wontanara!
West African Percussion Classes are taught by Mohamed Tounkara of Guinea, West Africa. In Guinea, Mohamed served as percussionist, dancer, choreographer & assistant to the director of the renowned company, Le Ballet de Matam. Mohamed played percussion with several other companies in Guinea, as well as with his own music groups playing in Dundunba and Sabar celebrations, as well as on stages such as the French-Guinean Cultural Center.

Mohamed is a patient and generous teacher for all levels.

7-8:30PM: PERCUSSION of Guinea. Learn rhythms on Djembe, Dun Dun, Sangban. Bring your own drum or use ours!
